How to make a water candle
Hello my dear friends! Today I’m going to show you how to make a water candle. It is called water candle, because the major part of it will consist of the water.
We need a simple shot glass, sunflower oil, a plain water, a candle, I’ve got such one, it’s often used for birthday. However, you may use any other candle.
We also need a plastic bottle, we have to cut a circle out of it. Then, we have to make a small hole with the stationary knife. Next thing we have to do is to remove wick from candle, and pass it through the hole we made before. You may use a pen or a pivot in order to pass the wick through. We did it, and got such a semi-product.
Then, pour water into a shot glass, then pour sunflower oil. As oil floats above the water, you may control the volume of oil. We have got such a oil layer, it should be up to 5 mm. Clear the disk to make it transparent. Put it into a shot glass. We have got such a transparent candle. When we look at it we see that the wick doesn’t touch anything, and it looks like it is floating in the air.
So let’s take a look at how it burns. This candle will burn as long as there’s oil. As you know oil has a property to burn, and when wick absorbs oil it burns. Thank you all for your attention. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel. Bye-bye everyone!
