How to make a mini-pump / water-circulating pump
Hello my dear friends! Roman is here with you as usual. Today I’d like to show you you how to make a water pump, or as many people call it – a water-circulating pump. First, we need one plastic bottle, a small motor – I took it from the DVD- drive, and it has such kind of worm. If you haven’t got such a worm, you may take any fixation for a screw, even make it with a wine stopper. Dispenser from washing gel, a plastic card, if you don’t have got a card you may substitute it with a CD or DVD disk. A felt pen or a pen and a power supply unit.
First of all we cut the neck of the plastic bottle with the hacksaw blade. Then we make a small hole in the lid, set a motor, then fix it with hot-melt glue to prevent it from water.
We move to production of a screw. We cut the stripe of 3 cm in length and 1 cm width out of the card. We make a small v-shaped dap in the middle of a stripe. Then we heat the edges with the lighter and bend each edge side opposite on 3 mm.
Make a small cut on the worm and stick a screw.
We take a felt pen into pieces, cut it a bit angle wise, then we also make a hole in the dispenser angle wise and stick it together.
. We just have to stick together these two parts, connect to the power supply unit and test it.
Later, I’m going to make a video with the usage of this hand made water pump for a room fountain. Also don’t forget that you can control the pressure of water with this dispenser. That’s all for now. Thank you all for your attention! Bye-bye everyone!
